AIMS


This course seeks to:

  1. Provide an insight into the Research Writing for MPhil/PhD in English Literature.

  2. Introduce learners to the concept of ‘research writing’ and enable them to understand the various stages, tools and procedures of research writing.

  3. Familiarise learners with the techniques and conventions of research documentation.

RESEARCH PAPER WRITING

Fundamentals, Introduction, Review of Literature, Rationale, Aims, Research Methodology, Analysis, Findings and Discussion, Limitations, Conclusion, Publication, Tips and Strategies

 

MODULE III

 

THESIS WRITING

Essential Principles, Front Matter, Chapterisation (Introduction, Review of Literature, Rationale, Aims, Research Methodology, Analysis, Findings and Discussion, Limitations, Conclusion) End Matter, Various Conventions, Tips and Strategies, Language and Style, Formatting, Publication
